| Well, I'm 23 now which now means I'm in my early to mid 20's, which is weird, but I guess anything's weird if you tear it down enough to find some random stat like that. Birthday was pretty low-key, which I didn't mind. It's become more of a relaxed appreciation rather than a celebration I'd say. Anyway, who hoots and hollers over some insignifacant number like 23? In any case, got some cool stuff plus moolah plus the love of loved ones.
Have you ever gotten bored of all the new video games offered and reverted back to the old classics you used to play and enjoy? Well, thats not the case with me right now (Discovering Madden and it's awesome) but thats kinda where I am with music. I haven't heard any good new techno in a while and almost anything you hear on the radio's a fucking joke, so I'm buying up all the old CDs I used to love like Everclear, Pearl Jam, NIN etc. and it's all pretty damn good. "Ten" by Pearl Jam is particularly good. It's crazy to think a song like "Black" is maybe the 4th-6th best song on the CD, which says a lot. "Don't make 'em like they used to" says the new old fart. |
